Thea Wilkins “Having studied Art, Photography & Graphics, I am now on a foundation course. My work is continuing to evolve and develop. This my first collection of work which is inspired by an eclectic mix of influences. My canvases evoke a sense of space and expressively layered backgrounds on which to stage my figures. The figures appear in concentrated areas in intense detail. In many senses I attempt to warp the traditions of portraiture.”
Laura Winchester (right) “After A-level art, I wanted to experiment with creative frames. A gilding course, then work in commercial framers taught me the basics. Now I work full time on hand-finished frames, developing my own styles.”
